Meter Reading & Bill collection is the main revenue source for our client EDL (Electricite du Liban). For this purpose, we are improving the meter reading systems by creating several layers of quality control, thus reducing errors, speeding the process, allowing recovery of overdue invoices & enhancing bill collection.
We have invested in various technologies such as the handheld devices that speed up the operation with minimum possible error in the Meter Reading process & allow us to cover the maximum number of customers every day. We have also started remote meter reading on the smart meters, which lowers the risk of human error since readers do not need to physically examine the meters.
The goal of these steps is to improve the cash flow for EDL and relieve customers from paying bulky bills from several accumulated months.
